Neil Farnworth
CEO
I have more than 30 years of experience in the Managed Services sector – initially in hands-on technical work, then through to management and senior leadership, but always customer-facing. Before joining the team here at Solsoft, I ran several successful Managed Service Providers.
I’ve also recently taking up paddleboarding with my wife; my main aim is to keep dry. Doesn’t happen very often.
Ilona Clark
Finance and Operations Director
In my role as Finance and Operations Director at Solsoft, I work closely with our management team to ensure our financial and operational processes are not only being adhered to but continuously improved upon as we strive to provide our clients with exceptional service.
I have had the pleasure of working with the Solsoft team for over 10 years and enjoy our daily team collaborations on how we can enhance our offerings and refine our IT solutions.
Before joining Solsoft, I qualified as a chartered accountant in practice, gaining insights into various industries and their unique financial and operational approaches.
Away from work, I’m usually found enjoying family time, live music, and learning to play golf
Dan Bradley
Virtual Chief Information Officer
As a Virtual Chief Information Officer for our clients, I’m at the forefront of developing and implementing IT strategy, delivering technical solutions that drive success.
I have a strong background in infrastructure and business apps, with more than 14 years of experience, and as a certified Microsoft 365 professional, I lead the way in modern desktop delivery. My approach to delivering IT strategy at Solsoft is rooted in a deep understanding of our clients’ needs, ensuring that our solutions are not only innovative but also practical and reasonable.
Outside of work, my passion for technology extends to the arts. I’m actively involved in theatre productions and live music events, so I’m often found either on stage or backstage!
Maria Plevin
Head of Client Services
To summarise, I see my role at Solsoft as being much more than a vocation. I am committed to delivering exceptional service standards for our clients, and pride myself on delivering sharp strategic thinking, as well as a collaborative and client-focused approach.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking our two miniature Schnauzers with my family. In my early life, I was a graphic designer – so I’m a big Mac geek as I’ve worked with Apple products since the early 1990s. I’m also fascinated by crystals and have completed a diploma in Crystal Healing.
Jamie Edmonds
Senior Professional Services Engineer
With more than 30 years’ worth of experience, I work at the forefront of the Solsoft Professional Services department, frequently deploying innovative and complex solutions while testing new and emerging technologies.
With specialisms in Microsoft Cloud, Microsoft Infrastructure, Novell Infrastructure, VMware and many other technologies, I provide advice and consultancy to clients and the Solsoft team, delivering information to all levels.
When I’m not surfing the internet for work, I’m often found with my surfboard, bobbing around the north coast of Devon!
Chris Brown
Professional Services and Development
With a robust 12-year tenure at Solsoft, my focus centers on orchestrating flawless SharePoint Cloud migrations and delivering impactful Data Analytics. Collaborating closely with our Technology Alignment Managers, I actively contribute to identifying areas of improvement for each customer and play a vital role in generating comprehensive reports.
At one point, I (jointly) held the Guinness World Record in Mattress Dominoes!
Liam Rogers
Technology Alignment Manager
With 11 years of experience in customer accounts, I am deeply committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. Nurturing relationships with all clients is essential for retention and account expansion. By immersing myself in your business, I can achieve the outcomes you desire while effectively managing costs and planning for the future.
At Solsoft, I thrive in collaborating with cross-functional teams. Whether liaising with technical support, the CIO, or operations, I prioritise a cohesive approach to achieve objectives and exceed service level agreements.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me navigating the bunkers of the golf course—endeavouring to locate my ball.
Jay Reed
Technology Alignment Manager
I am passionate about providing outstanding service and fostering strong client relationships. My goal is to not only meet but exceed customer expectations, driving both client satisfaction and business growth. By fully understanding your business and objectives, I will work with our vCIO to continuously improve your IT alignment as well as assist with managing your IT costs to help to set a clear path for future success.
I like staying active and love playing football, whether it’s a friendly match with friends or just enjoying a casual game. I enjoy the gym and running to keep fit and clear my mind. When I’m not working out, you’ll often find me gaming, or spending time with friends, catching up, and making memories. Staying balanced and active is important to me, and these hobbies help me recharge and stay motivated.
Laura Purnell
Finance Administrator
I am Solsoft’s Finance Administrator and have worked for the company for more than 12 years. My responsibilities include day-to-day bookkeeping and assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
In my spare time, I enjoy sunny holidays with my family and long walks with my dog.

Outside the tech world, I find solace in the rhythm of my footsteps as a passionate runner. Whether tackling the intricacies of IT or pounding the pavement, I thrive on challenges. Embracing change and staying resilient, I’m driven by a curiosity that fuels both my professional endeavours and my personal pursuits.

As a seasoned computing professional, I’ve immersed myself in the ever-evolving landscape of technology, mastering its intricate mechanisms and leveraging its capabilities to innovate and create.
At Solsoft, we’re the first point of contact for our clients – assessing and solving issues, then translating the solution into plain English before communicating it to the end user.
Away from work, I’m a keen photographer. I’m drawn to capturing moments frozen in time, wielding my camera as an instrument to weave stories, evoke emotions, and immortalise the beauty around me. With each click of the shutter, I seek to encapsulate the essence of a fleeting moment, playing with light, composition and perspective to convey narratives that transcend words.

Nick Packer
Central Services Manager
I am responsible for maintaining all customer environments and ensuring that all systems run effectively and without any issues. This includes maintaining and resolving any issues with customer backup solutions, completing any required security remediation and working to continually improve all systems and processes in place.
When I’m not working, I enjoy listening to music, gaming on my PC and spending time with my family.
Wes Goodall
Central Services Engineer
I’ve had the pleasure of working in the IT industry for over 20 years, and today, I’m part of the team at Solsoft, focusing on Central Services. My main goal is to ensure our backup systems run smoothly and everything stays on track.
I’m also passionate about finding new ways to improve system efficiency and simplify IT processes, especially through automation tools.
Outside of work, I love listening to music and gaming. I’m all about enjoying life with my girlfriend, our three dogs, and friends.
Damian Cunningham
Business Development Executive
I help and advise new partners on Solsoft’s unique strategy technology and security service.
Outside of work, I have two beautiful daughters – providing Dad Cab services – and I am also a musician for the mighty Black Wendy, a rock band.
Patrick Morgan
Business Development Executive
I am responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and driving revenue growth, which is a key role in in the company’s growth strategy.
Unlike the rest of the team, I am a Spanish resident and Alicante is my base, however I work 100% remotely, which means I could be anywhere from Athens to Zimbabwe when we talk on the phone!
My passions are traveling, food, languages and culture which is why my role is perfect for my work life balance.
